Autopilot: give a goal, not a task list
An employee working toward an outcome across days — planning its own tasks under a budget you set.
The steps
- Pick a goal with a number in it — Autopilot is for outcomes, not chores: "20 qualified leads this month", "publish 3 posts a week", "inbox under 10 by 9am daily". If you can't attach a number, it's not ready to be a goal — run it as tasks in chat first.
- Set the goal and the budget — In **Autopilot**, create the goal, assign the employee, and set the credit budget it can spend on it. The budget is your risk ceiling: ambitious goal + modest budget is a safe experiment.
- Review the plan, then let it run — The employee breaks the goal into tasks you can see. Skim the plan once — kill anything pointless — then let it work. Progress and questions land in your **Inbox** like everything else; approvals still apply to outward actions.
