Credits, simply
What credits pay for, where they go, and the two caps that protect you.
The steps
- Credits buy work, not seats — You're not paying per chair. Credits are consumed when employees work — a chat reply costs a little, a deep research run costs more. An idle employee costs nothing, so hiring one to try it is free until it works.
- See where they went — **Settings → Billing** shows consumption by employee and by app, and **Reports** ties spend to what was produced. If one workflow eats a surprising share, that's the one to tighten — shorter briefs, narrower schedules.
- Two caps, both yours — The workspace cap stops total spend; per-employee budgets (and per-goal budgets in Autopilot) stop any one worker from bingeing. Hitting a cap pauses work with a notification — it never bills through a limit.
