Share an employee with your team
A teammate or an outside collaborator talking to your employee — without giving them your whole workspace.
The steps
- Decide what you're sharing — Adding a teammate to the workspace (**Settings → Team**) gives them the dashboard. Sharing a single employee gives them just that — a chat with one worker, not your files, billing or other employees. For clients and freelancers, share the employee, not the workspace.
- Send the access link — From the employee's **Access** tab, create an access link — tied to an email or open to whoever holds it. The person lands in a chat with that employee only, branded as your workspace.
- Treat shared chats as front doors — A shared employee answers with everything it knows. Before sharing, tell it who it will talk to and what stays internal:
> People outside the company will chat with you through a shared link. Never mention costs, internal files, or unreleased plans with them.
You should see
Someone outside your workspace having a useful conversation with your employee — and nothing else.
