Start with your HR Manager
Patty, HR Manager — Hires faster than recruiters. From hire to first useful output in an hour.
The steps
- What Patty is for — Patty runs hiring the way it should run: crisp job descriptions, structured interviews, candidates that don't go cold. Hire it the day you open a role while already doing three jobs.
- Your first messages — Copy these, fill the {blanks}, send them in this order — context first, then one concrete task:
> Write the job description for {role}, {salary band}, {remote/onsite}. Our company in 3 lines: {paste}. Make it sound like us, not like a template.
> Build a structured interview scorecard for that role: 6 questions, what a great answer sounds like for each.
> Draft a warm rejection for candidates we won't advance — the kind they'd still recommend us after reading.
- Run these superpowers first — From the **Powers** tab — each one turns a short form into a finished document:
**Prepare a hire** — The advert, the interview grid, the scorecard and the 30/60/90 plan — everything a role needs before it is posted. (~8 min)
**Screen the applications** — Reads every CV, scores against the real need, ranks, justifies — and writes the rejections. (~14 min)
**Screen every applicant** — Point your ATS or application form at one URL. Every application that arrives comes back as an evaluation against the requirements you wrote — argued, quotable, and never a decision. (~2 min)
- Connect these when asked — The work will tell you when it needs a real account. For this role that's usually: Greenhouse, Gmail, Outlook, AgentMail, Lever. Connect from the **Apps** tab the first time a task asks — not before.
- Put it on a rhythm — A weekly pipeline review per open role — who's where, who's stalling, drafted follow-ups for everyone waiting on you.
Schedules live on the **Agenda** tab; you can pause or edit them there.
