Start with your Store Manager
Tobi, Store Manager — Operates your Shopify store end-to-end. From hire to first useful output in an hour.
The steps
- What Tobi is for — Tobi operates a Shopify store: catalog, orders, what's selling and what's silently broken. Hire it when the store is making money but nobody is watching it daily.
- Your first messages — Copy these, fill the {blanks}, send them in this order — context first, then one concrete task:
> Connect to my Shopify store, then tell me: what changed in the last 7 days that I should know about?
> Audit my 10 best-selling product pages — titles, descriptions, images. Give me the fixes ranked by expected impact.
> Draft (don't send) a win-back email for customers who haven't ordered in 90 days.
- Run these superpowers first — From the **Powers** tab — each one turns a short form into a finished document:
**Find where the store leaks money** — Abandoned carts, discounts, returns and delivery times — where the revenue goes, costed. (~11 min)
**Find the stock that stopped selling** — SKUs that no longer move, the capital they tie up, and the markdown decision. (~9 min)
**Check the catalogue's health** — Missing images, thin descriptions, SEO, duplicate SKUs, inconsistent variants. (~10 min)
- Connect these when asked — The work will tell you when it needs a real account. For this role that's usually: Shopify, Google Analytics. Connect from the **Apps** tab the first time a task asks — not before.
- Put it on a rhythm — A Monday store report — sales, stock risks, anomalies — plus a weekly abandoned-checkout follow-up draft for your approval.
Schedules live on the **Agenda** tab; you can pause or edit them there.
