Apps
An employee with no accounts can only write. Connect an app and it can actually do the thing — post, send, read the numbers, update the record.
Per employee, not per company
Accounts are connected on an employee, not once for everyone. The X Manager holds the X account; the Accountant holds Stripe. If you fire the X Manager, the account leaves with the role rather than sitting in a company-wide pile nobody owns. The reasoning is in Why apps are per employee.
Open the employee → Apps. To connect one, follow Connect an app.

Permissions are yours to set
Every connected app declares its scopes, and each one is a switch: allowed or blocked. Turn off what the employee has no business touching, or hit Disable all and grant back only what a specific skill needs.
The app's detail view also shows what it has actually been doing — calls over the last 7 days, when it was last used, and which of the employee's skills depend on it.
Accounts you don't own
Generate connect link produces a secure, time-limited URL you send to whoever holds the account: they authorise it themselves, and no OpenLabor login is created for them. Steps in Connect an app.
When an app is missing
Skills that need an account say so before they run — a skill that would return a confident, empty report refuses to start instead. That is deliberate: the fastest way to distrust an AI employee is to let it hand you a report built on nothing.
