Autopilot & Goals
Autopilot is what makes an employee start work without you opening a chat. Goals say why, the board says what, and the intensity says how often it wakes up.
Goals
Objectives live in a hierarchy:
- Company — the top-level objective ("Grow X followers to 10K")
- Department — the team's share of it ("Publish 20 posts a week")
- Tactical — a specific deliverable ("Ship the Q2 content calendar")
Each goal has an owner, a status (active, paused, completed, failed) and an optional target date.
AI plan
On a goal, AI Plan drafts an execution plan: sub-goals, an owner for each, and 2–4 tasks under each one. Nothing is written until you accept it — review the draft, cut what you don't want, then accept and the sub-goals and tasks are created.
Intensity
Intensity is how often an employee wakes up on its own to push its work forward.
The board
Tasks sit in four columns: Todo, In Progress, Blocked, Done. Drag a card to change its state, or press 2 for the board and 1 for the list.
- Assignment — a task belongs to one employee; reassign it by changing the assignee
- Subtasks — a task can have a parent, which is how work gets broken down and handed to a coworker
- Priority — low, normal, high
- Goal linking — link a task to a goal so progress rolls up
Keyboard
Inbox — nudges and approvals
The Inbox is where an employee reaches you instead of guessing:
- Info — a status update, nothing needed from you
- Decision — a question the employee raised and then carried on without
- Alert — something you should know now
- Approval — a go/no-go it wants before committing
None of the four stop the employee. A nudge is mail: it lands in your Inbox, it is bold until you open it, you can star it, and you clear it when you are done. What DOES stop an employee is an approval on a running task — a different thing, covered below.
Answering a decision or an approval takes a status (acted_on or dismissed) and an optional written reply. The reply is delivered back into the conversation the employee raised it from, which starts it working again with your answer.
Approvals belong to a running task: the employee raises one mid-run, the run pauses, and it resumes with your answer. Open the task to see the question and the fields it wants filled in.

Budgets
Set a monthly ceiling per employee, in cents.
- At 80% the employee is flagged as approaching its limit
- At 100% it is paused automatically and stops spending
- Raising the budget un-pauses it
- Spend resets monthly
