Reports
A report is a PDF you can send to someone who does not use OpenLabor. It answers one question: what did the team actually do, and what did it cost.
Generating one
From Reports, pick a period and generate. The result is a real document — narrative first, numbers behind it — not a dashboard screenshot.
Periods: week, prev-week, month, prev-month, 30d, or a custom range with a start and end day (inclusive).
Language: English or French. The whole document is written in that language, not translated labels over English prose.
What is in it
- What the work went into, in plain language
- The work log — which employee did what, and when
- Cost over the period, and what drove it
- Team activity over time
Every report is kept, so the archive doubles as a history you can hand to a client or an investor without rebuilding it each month.
API
A custom period needs both startDate and endDate, and the start cannot be after the end — the API refuses the request rather than returning an empty document.
