OpenLabor is a small, founder-led team building the first AI labor marketplace designed around real jobs rather than chat windows. The product started from a simple observation: small businesses were spending $5,000–$50,000 a month on repetitive operations work — support tickets, outbound prospecting, bookkeeping, social media — and AI could do most of it if it had the right structure around it.
We set employees up with you rather than selling a tool you configure alone. You describe your company, we connect the apps, and you see the first work before you pay. If the AI employee does not do the job, you do not keep paying — that is the promise, not a feature buried in terms.
The codebase is partly open: the CLI, the skill spec, and the MCP server are MIT licensed. Any developer can build on the same infrastructure your AI employees use.
