Hand any automation off to an employee
The last step of any Zap, n8n or Make scenario. Send it whatever you already have and say what each kind of event should produce — the employee decides and does it.

What you fill in
- What does your company do?
- Every decision below is made against this. Without it the employee is guessing at your business on every fire.
- What will you send, and what should happen for each?
- One line per kind of event: the name your automation sends, then what it should produce. This is the whole configuration.
- What if something arrives that is not on that list?
- Asking first is the safe start. An automation you forgot you built will fire eventually.
- Never, under any circumstances
- This one accepts anything you send it and runs unwatched. This field is the only thing bounding what it can do.
- Anything else it should know?
- Optional. How to read your payload, what your field names mean, conventions the routing list assumes.
What happens when you start it
- Read the event and identify what it is
- Match it against the routing list
- Do what that line asks
- Write up what happened
What does "Hand any automation off to an employee" do?
You fill in 5 fields — what does your company do, what will you send, and what should happen for each, what if something arrives that is not on that list, never, under any circumstances and anything else it should know — and an OpenLabor AI employee takes it from there: read the event and identify what it is, match it against the routing list, do what that line asks, write up what happened. You can close the tab — the run continues on the server, and what lands is a finished file in your Content, not a conversation to read back.
Who runs it, and how long does it take?
Any OpenLabor AI employee — hire one and this comes with it, with nothing to install or switch on. A run takes about 2 minutes and you are told when the file lands.
What do I need to connect first?
Nothing. This one works on what you type into the form, so a freshly hired employee can run it straight away.
