Onboard every new customer
Point Stripe or your order form at one URL. Every customer who pays gets a first message about the plan they actually bought, a file of their own, and a check-in that fires without you.
Run by Support Agent.
What you fill in
- What are your plans, and what does each one include?
- The payment tells the agent which plan was bought; this tells it what that plan actually gives them. One line each.
- What should a new customer do first?
- One action, the one that decides whether they stay. If it differs by plan, say so here.
- What should happen for each new customer?
- Tick what you'd do yourself for someone who just paid. Everything unticked is work that does not happen. The customer's file is written either way.
- Send it, or leave it for you to check?
- Drafts first is the safe start — nothing leaves without you. Switching to Send later is one edit.
- How should it sound?
- When should the check-in fire?
- It re-reads their file and asks whether the first step actually happened. Day 3 catches the ones who never started.
- Who should hear about it, and where?
- A Slack channel if one is connected. Left empty, it messages you directly.
- Never promise, under any circumstances
- This one writes in your name to someone who has just paid, with nobody watching. Whatever you would not let a new hire promise on day one goes here.
What happens when you start it
- Read what they bought
- Write their first message
- Open the customer file
- Schedule the check-in
- Tell the team
- Gmail|Outlook|AgentMail — optional
- Slack — optional
What does "Onboard every new customer" do?
You fill in 8 fields — what are your plans, and what does each one include, what should a new customer do first, what should happen for each new customer, send it, or leave it for you to check, how should it sound, when should the check-in fire, who should hear about it, and where and never promise, under any circumstances — and an AI Support Agent takes it from there: read what they bought, write their first message, open the customer file, schedule the check-in, tell the team. You can close the tab — the run continues on the server, and what lands is a finished file in your Content, not a conversation to read back.
Who runs it, and how long does it take?
The AI Support Agent — hire one and this comes with it, with nothing to install or switch on. A run takes about 2 minutes and you are told when the file lands.
What do I need to connect first?
It works better with Gmail, Outlook or AgentMail, Slack.
